We realize that many times our residents would prefer to be home instead of a caregiving facility. Our staff has gone above and beyond to make our facility warm, inviting and feel like home. From the time she arrived to the time she was discharged safely home, everyone assisted her. They made sure to keep myself and my other family involved with her care.

It had a nice window, but it was small and crowded. They showed her where the shower room was, and the shower looked like something from the 30's. The seat that you had to sit in is like a torture device. The commode right beside it was dirty with stool.

The facility on occasion smells like urine when entering. The rooms are fair sized and clean with individual climate controls. The staff and nurses may be overworked some are ok others just rude for no reason. The call alarm is often on for extended minutes when someone needs help. Pain management is many times slow while patients lie in pain or have to go to get their own meds and then be ignored by nursing staff. The food is fair to good with small portions guess it depends on your tastes.
My stay was very difficult due to an outdated call system. When pushing the call button there was no 2 way communication to express my need whether minor or urgent. This was especially difficult when I was non-ambulatory or in a vunerable situation. I would push the button and wait up to 45 minutes prior to a response.
