The staff and nurses may be overworked some are ok others just rude for no reason. The call alarm is often on for extended minutes when someone needs help. Pain management is many times slow while patients lie in pain or have to go to get their own meds and then be ignored by nursing staff. The food is fair to good with small portions guess it depends on your tastes.

My stay was very difficult due to an outdated call system. When pushing the call button there was no 2 way communication to express my need whether minor or urgent. This was especially difficult when I was non-ambulatory or in a vunerable situation. I would push the button and wait up to 45 minutes prior to a response.

Doctor refused to write an order for a hospital bed for my wheelchair bound parent to use following discharge. Some staff members are personable and people oriented. A few need to be trained how to speak to elderly, confused people in a gentle, reassuring manner.

Well I guess if they actually knew what they were doing they would be in a hospital setting. Staff RN's here are "no hero's".Food is horrible. Facility is dirty, staff regularly assaults patients.Patients are not allowed out of his/her room. Patients are routinely busy for a scheduled visit from friends.I would rather have someone I love live in a gutter, than place them here. A complaint is a negative occurrence reported by residents, their families, and nursing home staff. An incident is a negative occurrence that has been reported by a member of the nursing home staff.

We realize that the national standards of excellence are essential to providing quality care. My wife had a recent stay at Arlington Court. She enjoyed excellent nursing care and physical therapy. She went to several of the activities that were going on around the building. The food was good and she was able to choose what she wanted to eat each day.

Today I’m going to show you how to make makgeolli, a traditional Korean alcoholic beverage made by combining rice, yeast, and water with a starter culture called nuruk.

Refrigerated makgeolli can last a couple months. Long term storage will result in increased tartness and may become unpalatable. Open the crock and you’ll see a lot of bubbles popping to the surface, and the mixture will be a lot thinner than yesterday.

Over the course of the fermentation period, rice particles will start floating up and down in the liquid and you'll hear activity from the gases. The Makgeolli is ready when most of the grains have fallen to the bottom of the bowls and only a few grains remain on top. The liquid should no longer be bubbling away.
