We love the shingled roof, it not only keeps out bad weather, but it looks lovely too! This smaller coop uses a very simple construction process that would be perfect for a beginner to take on. The only real downside to this one is there’s very little space for chickens, you could only keep a few birds inside.
Simplistic Chicken Coop
There are double doors for access and a side hatch for the chickens. This tiny 8 square foot coop will be big enough for up to 6 chickens, although it’s quite tricky to build. At 96 square feet, it has a large door for access, windows on each side, and a small opening for the chickens with a ramp down.
Tips For Raising Ducks With Chickens
It is made of solid wood and also has the upgrade of being able to collect eggs without entering the coop. But this coop also has a nice place on top so you can grow fresh herbs or lettuce for your birds as well. It is a raised coop that is tucked neatly against the side of a house. Plus, it has a great run, and it looks like a nice little chicken coop. It has a way of adding some flare to the property where it is sitting.
Natalie’s Chicken Coop Plan
This coop is large and very spacious, however it is a difficult build. It can hold up to 32 chickens and overall, is great if you have a large flock and have space for them to roam. It houses chickens and it also stores chicken supplies, such as cleaning tools and feed. This coop has an enclosed run and is tall enough to stand in. It also has plenty of doors, making cleaning and maintenance easy. This is an intermediate level build and comfortably holds four chickens.
Backyard Chicken Coop (Our Easy Strong DIY Build)
First, it keeps the wood of the coop high, dry and away from rot-promoting soil. Raising the height of a chicken house like this also makes it perfect for winter use in areas that get snow. I used 1” diameter galvanized steel pipes for my chicken house legs, but you could also put it on some replaceable 4x4s. The big problem with permanent chicken houses is that they’re always troublesome and expensive to build. Lack of flexibility means they offer no chance to reduce or expand flock size, either.
Compact Low-Maintenance Chicken Coop
These windows are a perfect size for the coop plans we used but make sure to check your plans for the correct size. We modified the window placement for our coop a little bit, putting two on one side and a third on the other for cross ventilation. They look great and we haven’t had any issues at all with them. Here you’ll learn how to raise chickens, grow your own food, and make more than you buy.
My6chicks’s Chicken Coop

This DIY chicken coop is an optimal choice for those with a lot of chickens.
The plan also includes instructions for adding ventilation to prevent overheating. This step-by-step instruction pack shows you how to build a 4 × 6 chicken coop that will house hens. It has a large door for access, an external nest box, and a pitched roof.
Shed-like Chicken Coop Plans
The design also includes a large enclosed run to give chickens plenty of space to safely enjoy the outdoors. The hand-drawn chicken run plans include very detailed step-by-step directions and material list to simplify the construction process. This hen house plan was designed by a professional architect and offers clear directions, detailed lists, and images to help you construct your own loft chicken coop. The coop’s design offers 20 square feet of interior space, a 40-square foot secure exterior run, a large access door, a nesting door, a hen door, and a run door.
A great choice for those looking for a non-traditional design. This coop has a full-sized door and is tall enough to stand inside of, making cleaning easy. It is also cutely decorated with two hanging flower plants on the outside. The Little Red Hen House is a cute home for a small flock. It is similar in looks to a little house, with a large door for easy access and windows.
This comprehensive plan pack contains 34 detailed pages of instructions. Zelda can house up to 20 chickens, and it’ll take 3-4 days to build. The gable-roofed coop is of medium size and can house between chickens. It’s quite difficult and expensive to build, but its finish is high-quality and durable.
Playing for Team USA in the 2018 WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup, House hit a ball clear out of the stadium and watched it bounce atop a nearby parking garage while he trotted around the bases. Knight then pursued a career in computing and IT, and as an account sales manager, for around 20 years. After growing tired of the industry, he decided to move back to LA and give acting another go. He appeared in several shows but most recently, he is starring in a comedy stage show called Dinner at Five, which takes place in Palm Desert at the Indian Wells Theater. The Brady Bunch takes place in Los Angeles, and the home was chosen to be the Brady family home as producers thought it looked middle-class. The online listing for the midcentury house invites buyers to “own a piece of pop culture history,” and shows images of its detailed and polished 5,000-square-foot interior, which includes five bedrooms and bathrooms.
The 'Brady Bunch' house is listed for sale and resembles the sitcom after HGTV renovation
Late last week, the Washington Nationals made some notable minor league moves, including the promotion of third baseman Brady House, their 2021 first-round draft pick, from Class A Fredericksburg to high Class A Wilmington. He will join left-hander Jake Bennett, a 2022 second-round pick who got the same call a week earlier. In turn, third baseman Trey Lipscomb, a 2022 third-round pick, was promoted to Class AA Harrisburg.

HGTV had quite the competition to beat, as the famous home drew lots of interested buyers, including a bid from former NSYNC band member Lance Bass. And while we don’t know the final sale price quite yet (nor do we know who the lucky buyer might be), we’ll make sure to update you as soon as the sale goes through and more information becomes available. As for the rest of the space, amazingly, the team didn’t have any of the original plans so had to design the interiors from images and video of the set. According to writer Joel Stein (who was lucky enough to get a private tour of the home) even the famous horse statue, found in a Paramount storage facility and promptly mended with a 3D printer, made an appearance.

He struggled in seven appearances with the Hokies and then went unselected over the five rounds that June, despite being MLB Pipeline’s No. 180 Draft prospect. He signed with the Nationals for $20,000 as a non-drafted free agent, lasted his whole first full season at High-A Wilmington and has been even more dominant out of High-A and Double-A bullpens in 2022. A light bat and sturdy defense are the backup catcher’s starter kit, and Millas is fully primed to fill that role.
Throwing out of a high slot, the New Mexico native sits in the low-90s with his fastball, but coaches have praised the carry on the heater that helps it play up. Parker’s curveball gives him another good vertical option, and the pitch pairs especially well with the vertical nature of the fastball. The left-hander has thrown both a splitter and a changeup as a potential third pitch, but early returns are that it’s the former that seems more likely to stick. Brzykcy found it difficult to control the velo and movement at times in 2022, resulting in an 11.7 percent walk rate, and it’s still yet to be seen how well he’ll command the ball coming off all the lost time. If his stuff gets back to 2022 levels, he’ll be a weapon in Washington’s bullpen by summer’s end. Command has been a problem for Brzykcy dating back to his college days, and that remains true as he enters the upper Minors.

It’s worth remembering that he’s still the age of an American high-schooler as he begins his Minor League career, and he may need some developmental space to get his many tools in line, as most teenagers do. If it all clicks, he could be the organization’s biggest international success story since Juan Soto. The Nationals selected him in the second round and went above slot to sign him for $1.75 million. After the Louisville native got 19 games under his belt in the Florida Complex League, he underwent Tommy John surgery in March 2022, knocking him out for all of what would have been his first full season. Green really jumped on the map with a strong performance at the Area Code Underclass event in the summer of 2020, leading some to wish he'd reclassified for the 2021 Draft.
His plus-plus fastball reaches 99 mph and averaged 96 mph during his six starts at Hagerstown, and he showed the ability to carry that premium velocity deep into starts as an amateur. His heater has riding life at the top of the strike zone and sink toward the bottom, though its movement isn't as consistent as its velocity. He has a second plus offering in an upper-80s slider that plays nicely off his fastball and nets him whiffs with its depth and late bite. Herz barely used a changeup as an amateur, but now it's his best pitch, as he sells his low-80s cambio with fastball arm speed before it vanishes at the plate. That aforementioned heater touched 101 as an amateur and was typically around mph with a flat approach angle and some armside run. His mid-80s splitter dives nicely as it approaches the plate, giving some evaluators belief it could be a plus pitch, while his short slider in the same velocity band flashes above-average but is a touch less consistent.

In addition to his abilities on the field, the teen has been praised for his work ethic, baseball IQ and overall makeup. Herz's stuff keeps getting better, with his fastball jumping into the low 90s when he was a high school senior and reaching mph more often with late finish during his first full pro season in 2021. He didn't use a changeup much as an amateur but has developed one that has become a true weapon that just disappears at the plate. After throwing a promising low-80s slider in high school, Herz has switched to an upper-70s spike curveball with more depth that plays well off his heater.
Oregon State Blanks Oregon In Rivalry Series Opener, Highlighting College Baseball Roundup
With 23 steals last season and good home-to-first times, Lile proved to be an above-average runner, and in another organization, he might get a longer look in center field. However with Dylan Crews, James Wood and Robert Hassell III ahead of him and Elijah Green and Cristhian Vaquero coming up behind, Lile is best served getting looks at left field, where his below-average arm strength plays best. The left-handed slugger has a quiet setup in the box and relies on his quick hands, rather than his lower half, to generate impressive bat speed.
His blocking, receiving and framing all have a ways to go, though, and he committed 26 passed balls in 86 games in 2019. The good news is that Pineda is still young, with plenty of time to refine his game on both sides of the ball, and the Nationals expect him to get back on track after an offseason spent working on his body and physical conditioning. Advanced bat speed and pull-side power are the tenants of Feliz’s offensive approach, as his swing stays long through the zone. Armed with a solid approach and good timing -- along with solid physical tools -- there is expectation that Feliz could become an impactful contributor as he hones his game.
A below-average arm has kept Baker at second base throughout college and the pros, and the Nats have worked with him on his arm slot to get a little more strength on double-play throws. That said, his actions and hands make him a quality defender at the keystone, and Washington has even started using him in center to take advantage of his athleticism. Any versatility would help his case to be a high-average option off the bench in the Majors.
Catcher Ronnier Quintero signed for $2.9 million and Made received $1.5 million, eating up the bulk of Chicago's $5.1 million bonus pool. If the latter fills out his 6-foot-1 frame as expected, he has the potential for at least average tools across the board. The 6-foot-4 hurler nearly doubled his walk rate from 8.4 percent in 2021 to 15.4 in 2022, so while he was more difficult to touch, he was still giving batters too many opportunities to reach base.
Cruz will still only be 20 for the entire ’24 campaign and has time to turn his bat around in search of an everyday glove-first role in the Majors. Think of your favorite Major League glove-first shortstop, and that’s who Cruz is in very early form. His footwork and hands at such a premium position have drawn raves since before he signed, and he was considered the best defender of his class. He vacuums up balls, and he has more than enough arm to make proper throws across the diamond. White lacks speed now and might even lose some if and when he grows further in his 6-foot-2 frame. He’s already a corner outfielder only, and the Nats gave him the majority of his looks in left field in the FCL.
Starting with a toe tap, Hassell tends to see the ball well out of the hand and has long been praised for his ability to make contact through a classically beautiful left-handed swing. His supporters have always believed average power will come, but it hasn’t yet either in terms of true slugging numbers or exit velocity. The best pure hitter in the 2020 high school class, Hassell has a pretty left-handed swing and the hand-eye coordination to repeatedly barrel balls. He's at his best when he focuses on lashing line drives to all fields, but his stroke got too uphill when he made a concerted effort to hunt homers during the middle of the showcase circuit last summer. Scouts debate how much power he'll ultimately produce -- some project solid raw pop and believe he'll tap into most of it, while others see him as more lean than projectable and envision him as a 15-homer guy. The Vanderbilt recruit is a legitimate prospect as a pitcher as well but has a much higher ceiling as a hitter.

Kentucky Building Buzz In College Baseball As It Rises In SEC Race
Lile has a mature approach and a quick, compact left-handed stroke that produces repeated contact to all fields. His swing presently is geared for line drives from gap to gap, though he has the hitting ability, bat speed and projectable strength for at least average power if not more. He can make very loud contact and has proven he can drive the ball to all fields and hit the ball out of the park just about anywhere with at least plus raw power. He’s struggled in the past against elevated velocity and there are some concerns about his ability to adjust to offspeed and breaking stuff, but assuaged many of those fears with how he swung the bat this spring. House looks and acts the part of a large slugger at a measured 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, using that frame to generate good bat speed and plenty of raw power from the right side. He had previously gotten long in that swing, in order to exhibit that pop on showcase circuits, but shortened it enough last spring and summer to give him an average hit tool projection for now.
Organization Prospect Rankings
An elbow injury slowed him down in his first summer of pro ball, but Millas came into 2021 healthy and gained some valuable experience by catching some bullpen sessions in big league camp this spring. He played 59 games for High-A Lansing before he was dealt to the Nationals in a five-player Trade Deadline deal. Millas is extremely athletic for his position, flashing above-average run times and moving around behind the plate like an infielder. He also has a strong and accurate arm, the leadership skills desired in a catcher and calls his own game -- a rarity in college.

Teams who think his bat will profile well at the infield corner will take the chance at signing him away from his University of Miami commitment. The Nationals announced in the spring that House would be moving from short to third base full-time in ’23. His best defensive asset is a rocket arm that helped him throw 96 mph in high school and should ease the transition.
He’s also willing to take his walks when pitchers stay out of the zone and can manipulate the barrel when he needs to fight off pitches too. The 6-foot-4 right-hander sits mph with his fastball and is capable of touching triple digits. The four-seamer relies more on velocity than movement, considering it can come in fairly straight, but that level of heat still makes it a promising pitch. His mid-80s curveball breaks sharply downward and has separated itself as Cavalli’s best breaker over his upper-80s slider that features late cutterish break. His upper-80s changeup has been a work in progress in pro ball but has developed enough fade to be a pitch to hold off lefties. At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds with plenty of strength and bat speed, House looks the part of a power hitter and has well-above-average raw pop to all fields.
After signing for full slot at $1,734,800, he began his career with a dominant run at Single-A Fredericksburg (1.93 ERA, 54 strikeouts, eight walks in 42 innings) and joined High-A Wilmington in June. After making only six starts for the Blue Rocks, Bennett underwent Tommy John surgery in September and will be out for much, if not all, of the 2024 campaign. Bennett pitched with current Nationals top prospect Cade Cavalli at Bixby (Okla.) High and followed him to Oklahoma after turning down Washington as a 39th-round pick in 2019. While he won't emulate Cavalli by becoming a first-rounder out of college, Bennett could factor into the top two rounds after pitching the Sooners to the College World Series finals by winning four of his five postseason starts. Scouts thought Herz had the most live arm among North Carolina high school pitchers in 2019, but his murky signability dropped him to the eighth round. The Cubs surprised other teams when they got him to give up a North Carolina scholarship for $500,000, the equivalent of fourth-round money.
His promising hands translate fine to the box and he could be an average hitter in time, though he doesn’t project to hit for much power. De La Rosa’s swing from the left side remains a work in progress, particularly when it comes to getting his hands into position early, but the pieces are there for a solid hit tool. The bat speed produces impressive raw power that can go all over the field, and that should show up more in games as he grows older. His speed is also above-average at present, giving him a promising mix on the offensive side.
On the positive side, Nuñez has an approach that could translate to the bigs, as he’s patient enough to lay off pitches outside the zone and doesn’t often miss against offerings of any kind when he does swing. However, his .061 isolated slugging percentage was second-lowest among Double-A qualifiers in 2023, and he’s never slugged above .323 at any Minor League stop, hindering his Rule 5 chances. Entering his age-23 season, Nuñez still has the reputation as a Gold Glove-caliber middle infielder with incredibly smooth actions moving to all sides.
House has been a staple on the showcase circuit since his baby teeth had barely finished falling out. Between playing national tournaments at historic venues such as Wrigley Field, across the globe representing USA Baseball or as a member of his high school team, he has already faced some of the globe's best baseball talent. HGTV’s reproduction of the fictional Brady house has mangled the real-deal, late-’50s split-level home designed by Harry M. Londelius. All advice, including picks and predictions, is based on individual commentators’ opinions and not that of Minute Media or its related brands.
He’s also a skilled bunter that can push the defense with his plus speed up the line to first. All of this to say, he has near-bottom-of-the-barrel power with just a 100.1 mph 90th-percentile exit velocity. Listed at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, the backstop went from a hit-first profile in previous seasons to more of a power bat last year. Hand injuries in 2019 could have been behind the delay in slugging numbers, but there’s enough raw power there now for around 15 homers in the Majors. Pineda’s arm has helped him throw out around 40 percent of attempted baserunners at every Minor League stop, and it’s easily his best asset. He still has some room to grow defensively, but the Nats were encouraged by his framing gains last season, noting how much their pitchers liked throwing to him in Wilmington.
An elderly woman now lives in the house, and in 2016 she experienced a scary event when two intruders attempted to rob the home. Fortunately, she was able to call the police and the intruders fled the scene without causing too much damage. That’s because scenes that let viewers into the Brady residence were filmed on sets at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Soundstage 5.
That said, “zone” is an important word there because while Lipscomb kept the strikeouts in check at all levels (18.8 percent in the regular season), he did post a high 42 percent chase rate in the Eastern League. He even swung at more than half of sliders and changeups outside the zone, leading to a 3.6 percent walk rate (third-lowest among 222 players with at least 300 Double-A plate appearances) with Harrisburg. MLB Pipeline's top-rated position player in the 2023 Draft, Crews is a plus-plus hitter with plus power, and some evaluators are even more bullish on his bat. He hit the ball as hard and as consistently as any collegian, thanks to a quick right-handed stroke, the strength and leverage in his 6-foot frame and a selectively aggressive approach. After creating some mild swing-and-miss concerns last summer, he's controlling the strike zone and making contact better than ever, repeatedly hammering velocity and quality pitching. MLB Pipeline's top-rated position player in the 2023 Draft, Crews is a plus-plus hitter with plus power and some evaluators are even more bullish on his bat.
But this year with Fredericksburg, he cut his strikeout total to 34 and raised his walk output to 16, suggesting he has improved but still has room to grow. House, like many baseball fans, also likes chasing after first Bowman cards — typically the first official card released of a player after they are drafted. As players showed off the latest additions to their collections earlier in spring training, House walked into the clubhouse, saw a few cards from a distance and yelled, “CJ Strouddddd,” with a grin as he hustled toward the melee. On Friday, starter Patrick Corbin and relievers Jordan Weems and Hunter Harvey were among those watching live streams on the clubhouse couches. His arm remains easily his best asset with a 40.6 percent caught-stealing rate in the Minors and a 33 percent mark during a 13-game spin in the Arizona Fall League.
His stuff and arm angle could work in shorter stints, and he’ll best be served in the bullpen if he can’t find the zone more often. Throwing from a high slot and a windup often reminiscent of Clayton Kershaw’s, Parker is made for the modern game with a low-90s fastball that rides well at the top of the zone, inducing whiffs as batters can’t reach the high stuff. His low-80s dropping curveball can pair nicely with the high heat and generate whiffs of its own. Parker has worked on a splitter and a changeup, and the way the former dives nicely out of the hand gives it a leg up as his best third option.
The Nationals are willing to give him every chance to stay at short and follow in the line of other larger players at the position like Carlos Correa and Corey Seager (also 6-foot-4 each). An average runner, House likely will move to third base in pro ball but may be athletic enough to stay at shortstop. The Tennessee recruit should be at least a solid defender at the hot corner and possesses a plus arm that can pump fastballs up to 96 mph off the mound. Scouts compare him to a more athletic version of Joey Gallo or 2018 Cardinals first-rounder Nolan Gorman. One of the traits that separates House from the trio of other high school shortstops in this year’s Draft class is his 60-grade arm. Thanks in part to his big league body, House’s fastball has been clocked at 96 mph off the mound and 95 mph across the infield.
He generates a lot of ugly swings with a low-80s slider that features sharp horizontal break and has also added a spike curveball that shows promise. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 235 pounds, Susana already has a Major League frame and his arsenal gives scouts plenty to dream on. The right-hander can sit in the upper-90s with his fastball and touches triple digits on occasion. He complements that with a mid- to upper-80s slider, his best secondary offering, and a low-80s curveball.

The first was Quantum of the Seas, which launched in fall 2014 for a North American audience but was quickly sent to the burgeoning Asia cruise market. The Quantum Class ships aren't quite as big as Royal Caribbean's Icon Class and Oasis Class vessels (and thus don't have quite as much room for things like ice skating rinks). At around 169,000 tons, though, they're still among the biggest ships at sea, with a significant number of venues.

It's always wise to book your shore excursions in advance of your cruise to the Caribbean. With features like an ice rink, rock climbing wall and indoor promenade, Voyager of the Seas was the most innovative ship design in decades, the first ship that genuinely felt more like a resort than a ship. Royal Caribbean also bought Admiral Cruises in 1988, which was a company specializing in short cruises. The line then turned its nearly new Stardancer into Royal Caribbean's Viking Serenade in 1990 after a massive six-month-long refit. The ship also introduced the concept of an entire deck devoted completely to cabins with private balconies, as well as Royal Caribbean signatures Viking Crown Lounge and Windjammer Cafe.
